about

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in New York State. I have over 12 years of experience working with adolescents and adults in diverse settings, including individual psychotherapy, group therapy, inpatient hospitals, and residential treatment facilities. I completed my master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology at Stony Brook University and my clinical internship at Upstate Medical University. I currently teach at the City College of New York.

My approach to psychotherapy is gentle, creative, and collaborative. I provide a confidential environment within which the contours of what is making your life difficult or unbearable can be discussed. In psychotherapy, we will engage in an in-depth exploration of your experiences, relationships, and feelings, past and present, as well as their potential connections with the current historical moment.

I welcome people of all racial, ethnic, sexual, and gender identities into my practice. It is an honor for me to work with individuals in psychotherapy—to help them heal, change, and grow in the unique ways that are right for them.
